Life Science Law DK invites everyone interested to the event "Digital Health" on Wednesday 7 February 2018. Hear Bogi Eliasen from the Department of Futures Studies give an idea of ​​the digital of the future treatment solutions and be inspired by Troels Ravn Bærentzen from LEO Innovation Lab, Thomas Evers Christensen from Widex and Thomas Lethenborg from Monsenso when they give an insight into their digital initiatives.

Innovative digital solutions hold opportunities but of course also challenges when reaching new territories to be explored. Special legal challenges arise if they are not adequately addressed future solutions in the current framework conditions for life sciences in Denmark and abroad. As a major player in life science companies get the legal departments and their external advisors play a crucial role in implementing innovative digital solutions, including in particular in relation to interpreting applicable law, but also, if necessary, to participate in the design of future legislation. In order to be able to fill this key role, it is a requirement that the legal adviser has a basic and detailed understanding of not only the actual digital product but also of the general challenges associated with the introduction of Digital Health.
