Description

Please be advised that this event will be conducted in Danish. On 17 April, Danske IT-Advokater and Lifesciencelaw.dk invites you to an exciting event that provides insight into the strategic, legal and ethical considerations behind Gefion and DCAI, and what these developments mean for the future of advisory practice, risk management and legal certainty.

Lene Oddershede, Chief Scientific Officer at the Novo Nordisk Foundation, will set the scene by describing the background and the considerations behind one of the Foundation’s largest initiatives, the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI), which hosts Denmark’s first supercomputer. She will outline the centre’s vision and mission and discuss how she views Denmark’s position within the tech sector.

Marie Berg Simonsen from the Novo Nordisk Foundation will speak together with attorney and partner Jan Ussing Andersen from Bird & Bird about the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) and the legal considerations behind its establishment and contractual setup. They will be joined during the session by Kirsten Marie Donato from Novo Nordisk A/S, who will present the legal considerations from a Gefion customer and user perspective.

Attorney and partner Niels Chr. Ellegaard from Plesner’s Technology & Outsourcing department will speak about his recently commenced PhD project, “AI in Legal Decision-making – the Human–Machine Interface.”

We look forward to seeing you.
